1 6:25 The condition of the sky was cloudy. You could not see the quarter moon tonight. No constellations because of the clouds.
ReplyDelete8:13 I could still not see the moon from my perspective. I am going to look on the way to school. I hope out of the six day's we have been looking for the moon I hope in the next four day's looking for the moon I can at least see it once!!
ReplyDeleteThis morning, March 2, at 8:19am, the moon was a waning crescent. It was very faint through the clouds, and there were many passing clouds covering it.
ReplyDeleteIt was to sunny to see the moon.
ReplyDeleteTonight, March 2, at 9:17 PM, the sky was slightly cloudy. Unfortunately, I did not see any constellations.
ReplyDeleteI got to see Orion tonight I was able to find Beattle juice
ReplyDeleteToday the moon is a waning crescent. I tried to see it at 8.40 A.M. but there were wispy clouds covering the sky. My dad had told me where it was a bit earlier but when I looked it wasn't visible even though it was supposed to set at 11.29 A.M. William and I looked again on the way to school. Tonight, I saw Orion again and of course Canis major/minor. We tried to look for Taurus but we only saw Aldebaran. There was so much light pollution. And we were excused from my star gazing because it was too cold. Did you know that if you could see the Milky Way from the side, it would look like a giant fried egg. The center (containing the super-massive black hole that is in the center of every galaxy) looks like a big egg yolk.

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs. Conklin I forgot to check the sky this morning but today was suppose to be a waning gibbous. But I do have a fact, and here it is When Alan Sheppard was on the moon, he hit a golf ball and drove it 2,400 feet, nearly one half a mile!
