ATTENTION Safari Users!!

Hello Safari Users!
There is a known issue about the default privacy settings in Safari, conflicting with Google (we all know Apple and Google don't like each other). The recommendation is to download Google Chrome at https://www.google.com/chrome/

The recommendation is for all Heathcote related online school-work be done using Chrome.

If you prefer Safari, you will need to change your privacy settings. Go to the Safari Preferences Menu, click the Privacy icon and choose "NEVER" under the section that reads, "BLOCK COOKIES AND OTHER WEBSITE DATA."

What did you observe?

*Because of the late moonrise, do your blog in the morning anytime before school*

Please make sure to fully develop your post by including the following:

  • Any other interesting noticings, wonderings or information you have to share

  1. 5:51 I could (finally!!) see the moon it was a waning crescent. It was a great time to be looking for it now because the sky was clear with no clouds. It was also great because the moon was right outside my bedroom window it was a great view. I also saw the outer rim of the other part of the moon and if you put the waning crescent and the other part of the moon gets filled in it becomes a full moon but if you take away the waning crescent and you fill the other part of the moon you would get a waning gibbous.

  6. I went outside at 10:31 and stared up for a long time until I finally saw the beautiful waning cresent it was only 15.9% illuminated, a tiny sliver like a cut off thumb nail. I saw it just after its meridian passing, so it as just about passed the middle of the sky.

I saw it just after its meridian passing, so it as just about passed the middle of the sky. It was a clear day but there was some wispy clouds and just after I looked the moon disappeared.

    Tonight I could see no constellations and the moon is not rising till later.
