  2. Today at 7:15 pm it was still light outside but I saw the Moon clearly. The sky was a little cloudy. It looks almost full and is waxing gibbous and 98% illuminated. It rose at 5:38pm and will be in the middle of the sky at 12:09 am tomorrow morning. I will look for stars later tonight.

  3. It was a Waxing Gibbous today and it was super clear! Did you know that the moon was created by a mars size object that hit earth?

  4. Tonight, March 21, at 7:46pm, the moon's phase was a waxing gibbous. Before I had looked at the moon chart, I thought that it would have been a full moon. But, it wasn't, and in two days is a full moon on March 23. It was so bright, and the sky was so clear that I could even see rays of light coming from the moon. Some constellations I saw in the sky today were Orion and Sirius the dog star which is in the constellation Canis Major. Sirius the dog star is one of the brightest stars in the night sky.
