  1. Today, Sunday March 6, I went outside at 11:00 a.m. and looked really hard but the the Moon was sneaky and hid herself behind the clouds. Also, she is a waning crescent and almost a new Moon with only 8.4% visible. I can't wait for the moon to be out at night so she's easier to spot. I decided the Moon is female.

  2. Tonight, March 6 at 7:38pm, the sky was clear and because of that I saw some constellations. The constellations were: Orion, Cassiopia, Ursa Major and the Big Dipper. This morning, I did not see the moon because I slept until 9:30am! Although, I still know that the moon's phase was a waning crescent.

  4. I saw Orion tonight after my concert in White Plains at 8:00pm. The sky was much clearer than in Scarsdale. I also saw the Big Dipper and Canis Major and Minor. I looked for Polaris but without my Atlas I couldn't figure out where to look.

  5. I read about the Zodiac and the 12 astrological star signs. It is really interesting that everything moved so much since the time of the ancient Greece. I will read more about it tomorrow.

  6. It's so weird that I didn't see the waning crescent.
