  2. Tonight, on March 23, at 8:08pm, the moon was a full moon! The moon was incredibly bright, and you could even see rays of light shining off it. The moon looked as if it were almost orange. I have greatly enjoyed moon blogging, and I am very sad that we have to stop blogging. I have been confused about the order and looks of the different moon phases. But, now I have worked so hard it's almost easy! Also, I thought it was really interesting that the word constellation contains the word stella which means star! Orion is my favorite constellation. I noticed that Betelgeuse is red, and Rigel is blue. Maybe the normal stars could be white, which makes it the colors of the American flag! Some constellations I saw tonight were: Orion, Cassiopeia, Cepheus and also the brightest star in our night sky, Sirius the dog star which is the nose of the constellation Canis Major, Orion's hunting dog.

  5. The moon was very big and beautiful today, it was 99.9% illuminated. I also saw a bunch of constellations, I saw Orion, Cassiopeia, Cepheus, Canis Major/Minor, Polaris and The Big Dipper. It was a very clear night and I think I even saw Jupiter! I will still comment after today and I will miss this blog.

  9. Yesterday, on March 23 I saw the full moon at around 9 p.m. It was beautiful.
Fun fact: Did you know that there is water on the moon - there is frozen water lurking in permanently shadowed craters, and potentially below the soil itself.
