Any constellations you spotted
Any other interesting noticings, wonderings or information you have to share
Today is new moon! Last night at 8pm I went out to see some constellations. I saw the Orion (belt and shoulders), Sirius the Dog Star, Gemini, Aquila, Cepheus, Cassiopeia, Ursa Major and the North Star of Ursa Minor. And I also see Jupiter every night (it looks like a bright star).
It is 4:27 and I have looked all day at recess and at breaks in school and lunch and after school and all those times I was foolish I forgot it was a new moon today and that is why I have not seen it in the sky today! (P.S. It would have been a great day to see the moon today because it is great wether to see the moon I bet we will see a lot of constalations tonight.)
Tonight you could not see the moon because it was a new moon.A new moon is a moon that you can not see.I spotted orion.I wish that you could see the moon.
Tonight, March 8, at 7:23pm, luckily the sky was clear which led me to find the constellations: Orian, Cassiopia, The Pleaides and Cerberus. Also, this morning no one could see the moon because the phase was a new moon. When it is a new moon, it means that it is impossible to see the moon at all.
Tonight, March 9, at 9:07pm, the sky was clear. The constellations I saw were: Orion, Cassiopeia, Cepheus, Taurus the bull and the Pleiades. This morning, the moon was a waxing crescent, but there was only a one percent chance that anyone could see the moon. When I looked, I did not see it either.
5:53 I could not see the moon this morning because of the little bit of clouds. I will look at other points of the day and blog one more time.
ReplyDeleteI did not see the moon tonight. This is because it is to light outside.

DeleteI did not see the moon. This is because the Earth is orbiting the sun and going past the moon. The moon is staying in the same space.
